I'm looking for a good beginner bow for my 10 year old son. Something simple, maybe a recurve. I had a basic recurve around his age so I know they exist. I'd like something that he can shoot into an actual target (not paper). Something with a basic metal tip.
Any ideas? I've looked at Bear, but they seem to have mixed reviews.

I bought all my daughters and wife a Diamond Infinite bow. Fully adjustable from 7 to 70 pounds. Great bow that will grow with him and no need to buy anything more. They are easy to adjust as well.

Hoyt Kobalt, very adjustable, will last through teenage years. You can get one ready to shoot for under $500. I just bought one last week for my 8 yr old daughter 2 weeks ago.
