Zippo Lighters

Recently got into the Zippo game and have quickly realized why people collect them in the way that they have. I would imagine some of you all on the ODT have some timeless Zippos. With the history backing these lighters, anyone needing a flame for survival, a smoke, or a DIY project cannot go wrong with a Zippo lighter, especially with all the new inserts. What type of zippos are you all using? I love my black crackle 1941 with a single torch but the brushed brass 1941 with gold plated pipe insert takes the cake. I like my black ice deep carve armor but the armor has less options when it comes to proper fitment as it does not seat the torch options.

You have to use the sandwich bag trick for the original fluid inserts. Otherwise get a butane insert and you still have no more leakage.

Yep, cool to collect, pain in the azz to use. When I was a smoker, I was thrilled when the throwaway butane lighters came into being.
