    Worked on empennage today. Upper stiffeners top skins in place. Have to match drill all the holes to be sure they line up, then have to buck all the rivets - will have my 18yo son get inside to hold the bucking bar - I’m too old for that now.

    I had Tanis heating pads on my 177rg io360 and a cell phone on/off switch so I could preheat it as I drove to the airport. Will do the same for the RV io540.

    Yep. Harbor freight is go to for builders for sundry items. Aircraft Spruce for plane specific items. This is my retirement bird; take me and the boss wherever we want, whenever we want.

    Rudder/brake pedal assembly complete. Had to rivet up the pedals, install master cylinders, match drill bearing blocks. Putting these aside for a while (have to paint interior prior to installation of anything). Next project - finish up tailcone and join to fuse
