    They’re cheap enough, don’t give yourself “analysis paralysis”. Grab one today and get on with life. That wreck that the dash cam is going to prove the other guy was at fault may happen tomorrow. I guarantee you’ll find a better one cheaper the minute you put it in your car no matter what.

    My only advice is, don’t overthink this just grab one they are pretty cheap on Amazon. Get one that has a removable memory card.

    Check your amp draw with it plugged in and running. These are designed to have the airflow restricted a bit or else they are working too hard. I know it sounds counter intuitive that the restricted airflow makes the motor work less, but less airflow = less work. If it's from a heat pump air...
