I heard the other day Homeland security was getting ready to purchase 700 plus million rounds of ammo on top of the 100 plus million they have in stock. Brings round count to 2500 for each member of homeland security. I really don't think trhey are going to practice that much. My guess is it's...
Lyman gives you a variety. Hodgdon, Alliant and others have free downloadable manuals (Most powder companies) and some bullet manufacturers. They update fairly regularly. If you want to buy (other than lyman) go with the bullet manufacturer you will use the most
I have the 22/45 mk3 Hunter with the polymer frame and it is easy to breakdown and reassemble. I have heard alot of people having difficulties with the metal frames. It hav several thousand rounds through it with 0 problems. did add an aftermarket trigger but original was not that bad.
The 243 is light recoiling, flat shooting and is starting to be used in a lot of the 600 yard matches. Rounds are readily available and if shot placement is good it will get the job done.
Often the planning and suspense is far better than the gun even if you end up loving it. I only buy a tenth of what I get excited about but it keeps you going between purchases. It's called dreaming and I wouldn't give it up for the world!
