Well, thank-you. I asked a simple question to see where people's thoughts were on the state of sales on the ODT and you finally answered.
It is not always "beating a dead horse" to re-ask a question. Times change, different people offer their views, sometimes you get a different or new answer...
At how many posts do you become a "legitimate" ODT'er? You can learn an awful lot just by reading. My observation is that I see things at prices that at one time would have resulted in sales. Are you disqualified as a "veteran" ODT'er since you are perpetuating the beating of a dead horse?
I have bought quite a few firearms the past two months at very favorable prices from the dealers. I have noticed a shift away from buying from individuals to buying from dealers.
Sometimes paying sales tax and filling out a form is less trouble than arranging a meet and completing a deal I think.
My idea of "fair" or "reasonable" includes a discount to the local retail market. And I don't see it as beating a dead horse. There were many on here at one time that would rather buy from an individual than a retail outlet.
I can't believe the stuff I see just sitting on here not selling. What's up?
I suppose "fair" or "reasonable" prices aren't low enough anymore.
Middle class is showing signs of being tapped out all over the place.
You do realize that it was a communist government in Russia that was afraid of the Nazi's and Fascist's that only fought a common enemy with the U.S.A. and not for a common cause. That cause being freedom. Look at what happened after the war and the division of Berlin.
Exactly! That is why I don't like Communist Block weapons. I do not care for weapons used to oppress people.
I prefer weapons designed to defend freedom and that support free market economies. It is a matter of principle.
