Everyone broke?

It is a good time to buy. Yes OP a lot of people are broke. When everyone was panicking last year and buying $1,200 DPMS Oracles I was saving my money. If you search through my posts last year I said back in Jan 2013 that days like this would come. The market swelled so big so fast it couldn't possibly sustain it's self and would collapse. That is what has happened. Every weekend for the past few months I have driven around to gun shops and pawn shops buying things I want and interest me. With the exception of the $35 and $50 lowers I have been buying, I haven't paid asking price yet. I am not ballsy enough to ask for a discount on a $50 lower (yet ). Dealers and pawn shops have been very flexible because guns just are not moving now. Handguns are starting to dip in price now that is how bad it is getting. If you can swing it buy all you can now. If the midterms turn out the RIGHT way, prices will hold until after Christmas. Then at the first of the year we will see prices continue to drop. I wouldn't be surprised to see $25 stripped lowers by Christmas if the midterms go the way they should.

I have bought quite a few firearms the past two months at very favorable prices from the dealers. I have noticed a shift away from buying from individuals to buying from dealers.
Sometimes paying sales tax and filling out a form is less trouble than arranging a meet and completing a deal I think.

Depends on where you are, gun prices are all over the place. Some sales are extremely low. I've seen almost buy one get one free prices at some places.

I am sorry, I should have noticed your feedback score and realized that you know more about the ODT and the prices of everyone else's guns than anyone else here. Also, it is beating a dead horse due to the amount of times that this has been discussed, but then again, a veteran ODT'er like yourself already knows this. :deadhorse:

At how many posts do you become a "legitimate" ODT'er? You can learn an awful lot just by reading. My observation is that I see things at prices that at one time would have resulted in sales. Are you disqualified as a "veteran" ODT'er since you are perpetuating the beating of a dead horse?

I dont think everyone is broke.
Everything i see i want ,im finding new and cheaper at the local gun shops, even after you factor in tax.
Im in the market for another glock.
We picked up a New G19 gen4 this weekend, 550 out the door.
Look on here and people want 550 to 650 used with half the original **** missing and shot to hell and back.

Fixed that for you.

My "fun" fund is now broke. Today I spent the last of my funds on AR parts to build one for my daughter. Prices are definaty dropping. Got a $100 barrel, $80 PSA lpk, $100 PSA premium bcg a/charging handle and a few $9 mags. All I need now is a lightweight Fortis rail, an optic and a muzzle break. It's going to be a Christmas present.
