    If I carry it loaded I leave the the chamber unloaded that is under the firing pin. Basically making it a 4 shot. Doesn't this take care of the issue of not having a transfer bar?

    That is kind of what I was thinking. I am curious if anyone has some insight into why they say it is "unsafe". My wife and kids have shot this gun and I don't want them to get hurt.
