I am running critical low on my pistol powder.
Has any one seen HP 38 or 231 in the stores or online?
I will take anything I can fine but would prefer to buy 8 or more pounds.

I was able to lay my hands on some 300 MP powder and some 300gr XTP bullets (SKU: 45230).

I have 454 casull brass and 300 gr xtp JHP orderd.
H110 seems to be popular choice of powder and I will keep an eye open for some as I go into gun stores.
I have some AA5744 on hand and have found load data for 454 casull.
Beginning load 23.2 gr for 300 xtp...
I have been reloading 45 colt with HP38 and 255 plated bullets.
I am now needing to reload 454 casull.
In order of importance my reasons to reload are:
1. Cheap loads to plink (by plink I mean I want some power greater than 45 colt but don't need to break my hand).

I guess the question of the day is: Should I load up the other 90 (total amount of bullets I have left) or just wait till I can get more appropriate powder?
I did not group them. I don't know why I didn't, I guess I am use to loading pistol ammo just to plink with.
I hit two liter bottles at 20 yards, I know super difficult shot :)
I will be able to get to the range today, so I will see how it shoots.
I will not be loading a ton of these (as we have discussed not really the a well suited power) but it would be good to know if this could be a worst case situation option if needed.
