Constantly amazed at the number of members who admit in posts that they know what **** tastes like.
Every day there’s at least one “it tastes like ****” testimonial.
Hoping to go to my grave without ever (knowingly) tasting it.
Still got sets of Craftsman inch and metric wrenches and sockets in the garage. Some go back to the ‘60’s.
Gave all my British Whitworth tools to my BIL when he bought my ‘67 Triumph Bonneville.
I don’t believe the Chinese have it in their DNA to produce anything that isn’t ****.
You can make stuff inexpensively that is good quality, they just have no incentive to do so.
Brother-in-law kept breaking thin-wall Craftsman sockets (using them on an impact wrench in the shop) years ago. Sears kept replacing them for free. One day he went in to the Sears store with a handful, salesman said “hold on a minute”. Came back with store manager, explained that BIL was...
