    Nope, though not sure how that is relevant. Most of my hunting is done with a shotgun. I deer hunt with both rifle and bow. Last deer was taken with a bow, the one previous with a rifle. And?

  8. Question: Why does Kimber have a bad reputation?

    No experience with their pistols, but have had good luck with their rifles. My Montana and Mountain Ascent would be about impossible to replicate without far more $ invested. From the thread, it would seem they worked hard to earn their reputation with pistols though.

    ^^^^^^ best response so far. The 12ga I would want to carry upland hunting is not the same one I would want to send turkey loads out of. Those mentioned above are a pretty good compromise though.
