I thought about one for a long time. I wish marlin would come out with one at their normal 1200 msrp. I have the S&w revolver and would like to have a lever gun. It seems it would be very popular. The bighorn is very nice looking but the price is up there and I really don’t need anything quite...
I have one. I don’t know about best though. I think the primal rights is going to be better. It needs some surface texturing/ checkering/stippling to keep it slipping in the hand. My rcbs was more ergonomic before it wore out.
I shoot quite a bit of 500 S&W and h110 used to be all I shot. CFE blk is a VERY different powder. …in this cartridge anyway.
Look at the very narrow window for a 500 grain bullet with h110
And CFE blk
I have had good results by finding a case that hard to close the bolt on (can’t find one …make one by neck sizing until you get one). Then creep the die down until the bolt closes with little effort.
Naaah. When telling them to open up doesn’t work, it’s time for a more robust approach. I do feel bad for the residents of that neighborhood who were probably locked out from returning home after a day of honest work not involving criminal activity. And of course for the families of the...

I’ve never had luck with 300grain xtp’s out of my SBH. I tried it all…aa9..h110, lil gun from top to bottom. I’m not even going to entertain using fast burners like 231 or others that people use because even if it worked well, it’s not real .44mag potential. They just don’t shoot good out of my...
Nothing but did PC 1500 124 grain bullets. I’m sold on powder coating 9mm for my Glock now. The factory barrel shot tumble lube just fine but cleaning my seater die got old. I’m a little slow to learn new things but have come to the realization that PC and the internet aren’t fads.
Ok so since 10mm fans like to compare their hot rodded ammo against anemic loadings of calibers of another sort, it’s only fair we come back to the lowly .357
The cylinders on these 5 shot revolvers are BEEEEFY
Interesting read.

And the bit you read about how the 41 splits the difference 44 and .357 is true. Take a 12” ruler and break it at the 10” mark and that’s how it splits the difference.
Lol. I never rated my 10mm as special. MINE are not overrated. If others are overrating it, that’s an error on their part and not mine for liking the cartridge for what it is. If others are over rating it, I don’t feel a need to run away from it.
What it is is a much more powerful chambering...
Cast 1500 124 grain tumble lube bullets for the ford light blue PC treatment. Was only going to do a few but when you are in the groove and everything is smooth and they are just falling out of the mold with a little shake, turn the porch light on and keep churning.
