Another book to add to the survival library is "the formula book" which shows how to use different compounds to make things for the home. A must have imo

Suggestion on handle material, maybe something like in the link provided- canvas micarta type handle. Still provides grip in wet conditions. Overall good looking tool and would like to own one.

Cool, I'm a firm believer that if you don't go out and simulate conditions you will not have the experience when it is needed, just the know how. To me that's a considering factor and with that said thank you for the added info and clarification on the course.
