We add to our stock of food , Ammo and other supplies every month and try to keep at the least a years supply of everything! We date all food and rotate stock and when we use or give some away we replenish! It’s not if but when things go bad with the idiots running this country! -

Anyone feeling the need to put up food more the usual?
We have been stocking up last four years can goods dried beans, rice, dried fruit! Kroger has tuna 50 cents can this week so we'll be adding another 48 cans to our stock! Dried milk and flour, oatmeal and corn meal salt pepper and other seasonings! Afraid it's going hit the fan sooner than later! -

Salt Curing Meat
I used to use Morton sugar cure with smoke flavor and they don’t make it anymore! Mix up course ground salt brown sugar and black pepper! 6 cups sugar 1 brown sugar and 1/8 cup black pepper works good! -

best thing we ever done about 15 years ago was pay off credit cards and cut them up. I put money and Ammo back every week for emergencies! We have always kept at least 6 months food in stock! We both came up poor but we have never went hungry or done with out! I know folks live pay check to pay... -
