Oh yeah, used some last week from the truck to fix a broken zipper pull on a co-workers suitcase that was getting ready to head to the airport. :D Yeah, I guess I use it quite a bit.
Well, I used it last weekend to make a clothes line to hang some wet towels and shirts, 3 weeks ago I used it to make a drag cord to pull some full length lighter wood logs to the campsite. If I think of anything else I used it for in the past month, I'll post it up.

Can someone tell me the best place to find surplus ammo cans? A coworker is trying to find some for a gift. Looking for .50 cal. cans specifically. I stopped by Truprep yesterday but they only had C grade cans available. USA made cans strongly preferred.
We decided to go "camping" last minute and my son wanted to use his fire steel to make a "survival" fire. I took him in the woods this morning and showed him how to find lighter wood. A few hours later he took me to the woods and found some himself. So, we drug it back to camp and he went to work.
Dang, I'm glad I've never experienced this. I've had several pairs of boots that went 15+ years and not had this happen. Most have been Vibram soles but several (still in use) are proprietary soles and show no signs of this.
