Just stay away from the old line "but this is BAIT!" referring to raw fish. I would get a genuine kick out of seeing you set up a friction fire with chop sticks in the restaurant. Just bring a hearth board with you ;) And of course, you could sharpen the chef's sushi knife for him. -

The only big "cinema" thing I noticed was the new-to-bushcraft guy being mostly out of the shot on several of the scenes while you had blank space behind you- so with the camera panned over, the video would have shown both people better. And from a production standpoint, there's a lot of value... -

That rock looks right- very smooth sides and breaks to what look like sharp (SHARP!!) edges. Use a piece of carbon steel to try and get sparks... the sparks are actually metal being shaved off the tool, not the rock itself (from my understanding and experience). Stainless steel doesn't do as... -

Duct tape :) And I'm sure I'll run out of bullets well before the grips start to deteriorate. Then it's going to be bow and arrow time, followed by spear time, followed by sword time, then knife time, and finally sharp stick time. -

@57tr6 I was going to suggest opening one of those packs in a month or two just to be sure the contents are still good. I have no first hand experience, but have read that you freeze the packed rice/beans for a couple of days to kill any larvae that may be in there. Don't know if that works or...
