    I have had a Grand Trunk skeeter beater for years and I've been happy with it. I have friends that are happy with ENO. I'd get him one with a mosquito or noseeum net and a rainfly. Ask if he prefers a side entry or a bottom entry.

    I believe it. The AR gets a bum rap. I treat the two I shoot a lot like crap. They get wet and sandy, dirty, hardly any cleaning, and they both run like champs.
