    so I bought 20-5mil mylar bags for 5gallon buckets and 20-3000cc O2 absorbers. Was going to pack rice, beans, and pasta. Any other recommendations on food that lasts long term in mylar?

    1st, they are great for bullet holes, short term 2nd, I have 3 women in my house. Long term Other thing is, we moved to my bug out location. I have 20acres, goats, a large creek and a well. If something happened, most of my close friends and family would come here.

    I keep all the basics, plus tourniquet, saline bags with all tubing and needles, gauze, peroxide and rubbing alcohol, suture kits, tampons, multiple medications like antibiotics and stomach stuff. My bag has a simple first aid kit with survival blanket.

    Dryer lint is good. Just burns fast. I like vaseline cotton balls or triox tabs. Get a good 3-5 min burn

    What's your fire kit consist of? Or what do you keep in your bag? I keep a gobspark ferocium rod, small birds nest, top handle for bow drill, some charclothe, some vaseline cotton balls and the trusty lighter.
