Wow - the eforms method was quicker than expected. I submitted an individual application to create a SBR T/C Contender on 9/15, mailed the fingerprints that day, and received approval today. Now I just need to get the frame engraved and pick up a Super 14 .30-30 barrel.
IMHO the plane is a depreciating asset that also cost significant maintenance and overhead. Full-auto weapons will only go up in value, and are cheap to own.

I've heard good things about the prodigy. I've got limited experience, though - I haven't shot a lot of them, and I've got a Silencerco Sparrow that I'm happy with.
IMHO it's a better idea to get what you like the best, though, not what you get the best price on. Saving a few $$ on the cost...
They don't care if the printed address on your check matches the information on the form. I'm in the same boat as you - On both of mine I scratched out the old address, wrote in the new one, and they cashed it with no problem.

IMHO perfectly legal to use the grip pod. You don't have a charger, you have a rifle with a charger stock, and it's legal since the OAL is greater than 26" and the barrel is greater than 16". Fore grips are perfectly legal on rifles. You're good...
Would it be possible to make one set of cores for testing, destroy them, then make a second set? You would still never have more than one set in existence at any time....
No, the piece of metal isn't worth $7,500 - the ability to transfer to an individual is worth $7,500.
Scarcity is what makes it worth the $$$. There's a limited number of them available, and they can't make any more.
