For the other benefit of working with someone like @Construct More Pylons is that sometimes, they can get their hands on harder-to-find cans when you want them.
The way demand is at the moment, I've seen situations where smaller operations have been able to supply product when SilencerShop and...
Running wet really only impacts the first (and occasionally a couple of subsequent) rounds fired. Unless you're out on an assignment (IYKWIMAITTYD) that first round pop's no real biggie.
I already have an AR-pattern 300BLK which for a number of reasons has a barrel longer than I really like. It's a great shooter, and I intend to carry on with it in this configuration, shooting subs and supers. As you can see, it's got a Dead Air Keymo muzzle brake on it.
That's an old photo...
I think it may come down to a combination of the model of can and the nature of the problem.
I've had a couple of enquiries of Dead Air that were handled fine.
I haven't had to do any returns, but of the 4 Dead Air cans I own, three are marked "KGMADE". I'm sure that if I had to return them...
It depends what they mean by 'To Use'.
Some processes incur fees - for example, if you bought a silencer 'out of network' - and certainly when I did that when I transferred some silencers in that way a few years ago, I was charged $25 for each can.
Given that the original out of network dealer...
Obviously, you need a piston compatible with the Omega. The only other variable is the thread, which would usually be 1/2 x 28 - obviously confirm that that's the thread on the barrel - most modern 9mm pistols in the US use this thread.
As you can see from the picture, you also need a piston...
Yep. I have found that a hard container works better than a plastic one. Makes cleanup easy, and if you do use cleaning reagents, you don't need to use as much.
When I'm cleaning brass for reloading though, or doing a whole pistol frame, I'll do that in the tub - but for that, I tend to use...
I'll say one thing about the video they have on the Amazon page for the product @Spas-12 Owner linked to.
If you do decide to clean magazines in the ultrasonic cleaner, dry them off as soon as you get them out of the tank.
I don't have any evidence for- or against- it, but I'd be wary of using a cleaning formula that wasn't predominantly water.
Ultrasonic cleaners have a heating effect on the liquids in them, and indeed, the way that ultrasonic cleaners work is by causing cavitation bubbles on the surface of the...
Most ultrasonic cleaners allow you to set the temperature too - I don't have a fixed temp, but when I have concentrated chemicals in the water I don't let it get too hot because there will be more chemicals 'boiled off'.
I don't have a regular schedule, but I think that was after about 600 rds of all kinds of ammo.
22lr is dirty, dirty stuff, and basically, when the can feels too heavy and I have time, I just sling it in the ultrasound for 20 minutes or so.
3L is plenty.
While I'm at it, I'll just warn you that ultrasonic cleaners can strip the finish off of parts like end caps (and if you decide to clean gun parts, it'll strip the polycoat off of metal CZs in seconds). You'll see when I post my pictures that my Mask endcap is now naked. i'm not...
Funny you should ask. I'm zapping my Dead Air Mask as I type this.
I have a generic ultrasonic cleaner from Amazon (like this, but with dial knobs) https://www.amazon.com/VEVOR-Commercial-Ultrasonic-Capacity-Solution/dp/B01HGNM5WE
And I'm trying out using the Birchwood Casey Brass cleaner, but...
IF TRUE, the very fact that they had to take that sucker offline to light that functionality up is ridiculous, 1990's Internet ****.
And to do it during the daytime, on a weekday.
And not pre-handle it with an announcement 30 days before.
Clown World stuff.
Why yes. Because if you hold NFA items as an individual, the moment that you become an UnPerson due to some bull**** legal process that strips your of your rights, you have to transfer them to some other, identifiable person that can then be Unpersoned, a process that generates more ownership...
