    When there are no consequences for doing a poor job, there is little incentive to do a good job except for the few that have a personal work ethic. Saw it every day in the FAA and it’s a cancer in every government agency.

    That’s what I would think. DSA sells a gas plug designed to run a suppressor but can’t be used without one. Don’t want to get into a lot of changing parts just to run it.

    They’re the same as far as I know except there is a fingerprint card for every transfer. Hell I had a Top Secret clearance in the Navy and a Secret with the FAA until I retired but they still want to waste time and money on every NFA transfer.

    E-File was supposed to have sped up the process and it’s been hit or miss (I’ve got one waiting since March). Until there is a punitive measure put in place (mandatory refund of transfer tax on any approval taking more than 90 days) they will drag their feet because they can. Like everyone else...
