That will still happen with a regular reaction rod. The super reaction rod locks through the ejection port to reduce the possibility of shearing an index pin.
Meh, water is hit or miss. Most don't have the nuts to crank the torque needed to bust them loose. No offense here, but the super reaction rod helps to mitigate the extra torque on the receiver.
If it's a typical Government restructure, they probably moved people quick at approving forms to other departments, moved new folks into those positions, and probably added a few steps to the process to drag it out even longer internally...you know, "efficiency".
Call Cherokee Gun and Pawn. They had one on their Glock counter this past weekend. I am pretty sure it is a factory SBR and not a pistol as well (no need for a trust to be engraved on it if its a factory SBR), but, factory SBR's are typically a few more bucks than converting a pistol with a Form 1.
What did you really expect to happen when you bought it though? My 3 cans were all bought knowing the wait times were outrageous. My first 1 took 11 months, and I have 2 awaiting approval that were paid for about 2 days before 41F went live.
I already planned to not see them for a loooong...
