How about remove suppressors from the NFA and just sell them over the counter like a firearm with a standard background check? Or, maybe, without even a background check since a suppressor is not a firearm.
Looks interesting. I would say that, if you put a stock on the tube, it is SBR. But, if you put a pistol brace on it, you might could call it a pistol. After all, what is the difference between an AR pistol and an SBR?
That's crazy!!
Looks like you should be able to get in a MAC for below $9K. https://www.atfmachinegun.com/ has a couple in that range. I have bought NFA items from them before with no issues.
Make a large list of things you need to get done and concentrate on that list, plan your next project, occupy your mind with something because you are in for quite a wait now. Just try to keep it out of your mind.
Okay. Some of you are smarter than me, would he not have a pretty good case against the county reporting this for libel, slander, and/or defamation of character?
Straight from ATF website NFA FAQ section:
Does the registered owner of a destructive device, machine gun, short-barreled shotgun, or short-barreled rifle need authorization to lawfully transport such items interstate?

A friend of mine just moved to Alabama and will be setting up an outdoor range on his property. I am going to be going over to shoot (when the heat breaks some) and have a few NFA items I want to take with me. Does anyone know what is the current turnaround time on submitted 5320.20 forms...

Bought my MAC at the site listed above because my first go to for any gun purchase (Cherokee G&P) did not have what I was looking for.. It was as pictured. I have a couple of items I have bought from them and never any issues. Always as advertised.
I would...
Sounds like someone definitely screwed up. I would make sure the dealer gets it corrected. The dealer, and the other customer who has the bad paperwork that doesn't match their can, did a ****ty job of checking paperwork for accuracy when signed and submitted. I always check and double check...
It never ends..................Don't go and shoot something that is FA. That will really grab hold of you.
I have NFA items and want more...........Just short on funds at the moment.
Enjoy the wait. The first is the most difficult.
I received an email today that the Form 1 I filed on 7-07-16 is APPROVED. E-filed / trust. Guess I will have to log on tonight and print that out.
Now I can have the QC-10 Glock mag lower engraved and build out the upper I have been putting off finishing.
