    The arc22 has a steel baffle at the muzzle of the gun, known as a blast baffle. I have an arc22al which is rated .22lr only and haven't had any tumbling issues. I hope you can get this taken care of.

    I do this and it does seem to help. I put my baffles (arc22al) on a cookie sheet in the oven set at 225 degrees, let them heat for about 15 min then drop them into a container with the Dot 5.     You are correct on starting from scratch. This particular rifle I can only do certain upgrades to and still be in the factory class. If I were to build one for unlimited class, I'd start with something like the Kidd reciever and build on to that.

    Makes sense, thanks for the reply. I'm trying to build a factory class ABRA competition rifle and I'm always on the lookout for tips like this. OP, you're getting some good advice here. I can't wait till my stamp comes in, my rifle is ready to go.
