Shame, glad you shared. I was looking at his website recently.
  2. Anyone have a koi pond?

I don't have one. I do have two pumps and a high dollar bead filter I should probably get rid of. Wife brought them home several years back.
  3. Rusted steel pennies. Pissed off.

Been meaning to set up one for years. http://www.castironcollector.com/electrolysis.php
  4. What pen do you use the most?

LOL, I'll do it for you................... https://www.montblanc.com/en-us/collection/writing-instruments/meisterstueck/10883-meisterstueck-classique-ballpoint-pen.html
  5. What pen do you use the most?

x2, I carried one of these for years, anyone ever wants to borrow it you either say no or watch them like a hawk! Now that I rarely use a pen they are boxed and and put away. I currently have two, one in perfect condition and one that needs to go in for service! probably should lock them in the...
  6. spanish mauser

I was about 11 then. Wages were somewhere around $1.25 an hour. That was a fair amount of money for surplus guns at the time.
  7. spanish mauser

Looks better cleaned up.Those were available at Economy Auto for about 12-15 dollars. in 1969. Mom got me one for Christmas that year.
  8. Wall mounted rifle display I just built for an ODT member to put his M1 Garand in

I built the same basic box and lined it with blue. Couldn't believe the hell I caught from folks saying it looked like a small casket! Looks good to me though!
  9. Meat grinder suggestion?!?

Check this website out. Also, some manual grinders can have a pulley and motor attached. That may be a lower price option. http://www.sausagemaker.com/
  10. Meat grinder suggestion?!?

As an ex meat cutter I can tell you the Kitchenaids are junk. If you have a local Wal-Mart see if they still have the small model in the meat dept for grinding roasts for customers. Get the model and see if you can locate one. They do not sell the machine but it is a nice solid machine for...
  11. Sweet potato Pie and hush my mouth

10-4 there good buddy:D Was wondering if things had changed over the years! When I first got mine you could typically talk about 50-75 miles. When I threw it away it seemed like you couldn't talk across the street due to so much usage.
  12. Sweet potato Pie and hush my mouth

Question there, I haven't played with CB's in years so I have to ask. Isn't there still a 5 watt limit on these things? FCC did a lot of fining back in the late 70's over this. I still remember that a 500 watt linear amp would light up a 48" florescent light bulb about as well as the electric grid!
  13. Beer?

    Dark its good stuff.
  14. Beer?

Thats interesting, we've met so you know I'm well over the age of 21. I still get carded in town at the places you mentioned. I sometimes tell them they just need a key that says "old fart" when the register asks for a date of birth. Oh well, maybe they are just trying to make me feel younger!
  15. Beer?

But once acquired is it ever so good! Have a yuengling Black and Tan, lots of flavor and not as much bite as those oh so good German dark imports! Also go to Total Wine & More - Kennesaw. They have a wall that you can choose singles of beer from all over the world. A chart that lists the...
  16. Cooking / Smoking / Grilling

Beer in those cans, did you check out the lemon breasts though?
  17. Cooking / Smoking / Grilling

It gives them a great flavor, jump starts the conversation when you bring it in too!
  18. Cooking / Smoking / Grilling

OK, enough of this food. How about my lemon breasted beer chicken. I've not seen it anywhere else. yes the cans say Pepsi, since I just drink bottled beer I had to scrounge up a couple of cans to put beer in.
