    Looks better cleaned up.Those were available at Economy Auto for about 12-15 dollars. in 1969. Mom got me one for Christmas that year.

    Question there, I haven't played with CB's in years so I have to ask. Isn't there still a 5 watt limit on these things? FCC did a lot of fining back in the late 70's over this. I still remember that a 500 watt linear amp would light up a 48" florescent light bulb about as well as the electric grid!

    Thats interesting, we've met so you know I'm well over the age of 21. I still get carded in town at the places you mentioned. I sometimes tell them they just need a key that says "old fart" when the register asks for a date of birth. Oh well, maybe they are just trying to make me feel younger!

    OK, enough of this food. How about my lemon breasted beer chicken. I've not seen it anywhere else. yes the cans say Pepsi, since I just drink bottled beer I had to scrounge up a couple of cans to put beer in.
