  1. Liquid gold

Yup. 3,000 years old and still edible: http://www.nationalgeographic.com.au/history/honey-in-the-pyramids.aspx
  2. Citizen Eco-Zilla Professional Divers Watch

Anyone own or previously own one? This thing is a TANK! I really like the watch but the band is like a slab of steel belted radial. Stiff, thick and tuff. I want to get the adaptors for it so I can put a bracelet band on it but I'm having a hard time popping $55 just for the adaptors. If...

  5. Any watch people here???

Well, my friends at Pawn Express made me an offer I couldn't refuse on a Citizen Professional Dive watch and jump started my passion again...damn t. LOL. Now I have four more Citizens. And THEN they showed me an Oris Automatic TT1 Williams F1 and put such an insane price on it I HAD to buy it too.
  6. I finally got published!

I had two jokes published in a magazine when I was 13.
  7. Zombie apocalypse - The home game

So my mind has been wandering and I began thinking about the impending zombie apocalypse(heh, heh). And some few thoughts have really grown to the point where I wanted to share and get feedback and input on them. So in no particular order, here goes: Would a zombie epidemic be an extinction...

Looking at ONES THAT SOLD on eBay, they have sold anywhere from $320 in VF condition to $2578 in MS64. No real way to tell without a reliable grading.

Looked at provident metals but they are out of stock on all their $5 gold coins so show no prices. https://www.providentmetals.com/coins/pre-33-gold/5-half-eagle/5-indian.html
  10. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

For the heck of it I ordered : and and and several others from China. All are $2-4 each. I think I got carried away. LOL. Oh well, they will be my toys so I don't have to use the GOOD ones too much.
  11. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

Awesome bro. I am SO untalented. LOL.
  12. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

I worry more about scraping and scratching the body when I post. But I am getting more about the experience than the materialistic aspects. I'm trying to get more Zen in my approach towards life. Besides, I tend to say so many things in haste that the opportunity to reflect on my next words is a...
  13. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

If I don't stop buying pens my 401 is going to be a yard sale. Sigh.
  14. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

I've thought about that...capping and un-capping. But I think it is part of the experience. Like winding or setting a watch. The time spent doing it is part of the overall richness of the experience. Otherwise might as well buy a digital watch and disposable ballpoint pen. Now a screw on cap...
  15. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

LOL. That's something about fountain pens I hadn't considered until the first time I stumbled through filling a converter. I have dry skin and the ink SHOOTS through the loops and whorls of the fingerprints and every crack and crease in the skin like lightening. And then it washes off....eventually.
  16. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

I've stolen so many pens from my bank I singlehandedly lowered the interest rate on their CDs. ;)
  17. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

Thanks for the heads up on the BSB. I've been wondering why I ordered the Diamine Matador and Montblanc Toffee Brown , but I just wanted them. Maybe in the future I'll look for a more artistic blue than the Royal blue but for now I'll wait. And it probably won't be the BSB now that I know it's...
  18. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

Is it unhealthy that I use "I can't believe it's not butter" for breath spray?
  19. Fountain pens and fine writing instruments

I still have a couple of the sets. So damn skinny you couldn't hold onto them but Industry leaders nonetheless. On the other end was the Townsend, which was heavier than trying to write with a jack handle. You could only write short notes or you have to slather up with Bengay after every page...
