Anyone own or previously own one?
This thing is a TANK! I really like the watch but the band is like a slab of steel belted radial. Stiff, thick and tuff. I want to get the adaptors for it so I can put a bracelet band on it but I'm having a hard time popping $55 just for the adaptors. If...
Well, my friends at Pawn Express made me an offer I couldn't refuse on a Citizen Professional Dive watch and jump started my passion again...damn t. LOL. Now I have four more Citizens. And THEN they showed me an Oris Automatic TT1 Williams F1 and put such an insane price on it I HAD to buy it too.
So my mind has been wandering and I began thinking about the impending zombie apocalypse(heh, heh). And some few thoughts have really grown to the point where I wanted to share and get feedback and input on them. So in no particular order, here goes:

I've thought about that...capping and un-capping. But I think it is part of the experience. Like winding or setting a watch. The time spent doing it is part of the overall richness of the experience. Otherwise might as well buy a digital watch and disposable ballpoint pen. Now a screw on cap...
LOL. That's something about fountain pens I hadn't considered until the first time I stumbled through filling a converter. I have dry skin and the ink SHOOTS through the loops and whorls of the fingerprints and every crack and crease in the skin like lightening. And then it washes off....eventually.
Thanks for the heads up on the BSB. I've been wondering why I ordered the Diamine Matador and Montblanc Toffee Brown , but I just wanted them. Maybe in the future I'll look for a more artistic blue than the Royal blue but for now I'll wait. And it probably won't be the BSB now that I know it's...
I still have a couple of the sets. So damn skinny you couldn't hold onto them but Industry leaders nonetheless. On the other end was the Townsend, which was heavier than trying to write with a jack handle. You could only write short notes or you have to slather up with Bengay after every page...
