The majority of them are not worth anything. I have 2-300 Nolan Ryan baseball cards from that era and I think my most expensive one is only worth a couple of bucks. Been a while since I looked.
A 2 meter HT is all you need to get started on ham radio. The other guy posted that he would like to get into it but there are so many radios, antennas, and related gear it can get confusing.
Especially if you go to HRO or somewhere like that and it pulls up those $10,000 all in one, every...
Sure there are a million radios and antennas and other gear out there but you don't have to worry about all that to get started. A handheld radio that is capable of operating on the 2 meter Ham bad is all you need. Buy or make a cheap antenna for better reception and all the better.

Just finished it, haven't had much reading time lately.
I thought it started pretty slow, it was hard to keep all of the Greek language stuff straight in my head. Once I got going on it I liked it a lot. I thought the fight "scenes" were well written. I hate reading a book where the fights are...
Looks good.
I have watched PhillyEDC's stuff on youtube. I keep saying I am going to get into Kydex but I don't have anywhere to put the stuff. We are looking at a house with a workshop out back, if we get it I'm gonna have to buy some stuff.
Congrats on getting your license!
Stay away from glass mount antennas. They don't work worth a crap. Mag mount is better but not optimal. NMO mount is gonna be the best but you have to drill a hole.
I use a cheap mag mount and it works fine. You don't need anything super nice for repeater...
Yeah I saw that, that would have sucked.
Did you see the black F150 with the big Glock sticker and the "you picked the wrong place" sticker under that?
