What do y'all know about SOT kayaks?

They use different sockets so you would not be able to swap an Intel for an amd. Intel changes the socket type and chipset fairly often so I would plan on buying the cpu and motherboard you plan on using for the next three years or so now and plan on upgrading everything then -
