  1. Resurrecting an old hobby (fedex hate thread)

Oh damn ! Spell check corrected what I didn't want corrected AGAIN.
  2. Resurrecting an old hobby (fedex hate thread)

Last daughter has two basses one Epiphone Les Paul lefty and amps for both. I take her to bass lessons at Music Masters in Warner Robins every Friday. Not sure if she's actually learning to play or if it's more of a talking therapy session with the teacher/owner. Anyway if you're local and need...
  3. Exonumia. Anybody into it?

Don't you take a round of chemo for that?
  4. Rolex value destruction

Now I dig a Royal Oak as much as anyone but... I can't rap and my jump shot is nonexistent.
  5. Rolex value destruction

Not a big fan of the Moonwatch for 2 reasons. 1) It's a manual wind. 2) It's a chronograph which to ME makes for a cluttered busy looking dial. Only Chrono I want is the Tag Monaco and that's only because it's so unique in appearance. But I would gladly take one of most every other Omega model...
  6. Rolex value destruction

Go with what works. I have a $20.00 Timex Expedition with the push button light option. Had it about 10 years.
  7. Rolex value destruction

Timex has some good looking retro models. Although they aren't $19.95.
  8. Rolex value destruction

The Pelagos IS probably the best looking Tudor model.
  9. Rolex value destruction

That's part of the reason I dig the Seamaster. It's NOT a Rolex. Sure I would LOVE a Sub or Explorer 2 but if I can't afford those then I don't want something that looks like it. That's why I never gave Tudor a second look. I know they make great watches but to me it's like wanting a Lincoln...
  10. Rolex value destruction

It certainly is and I dig green. But I think that's gonna be the Seamaster that commands a premium OR will have a wait list. At least that's what I saw on some YouTube watch channels.
  11. Rolex value destruction

Never owned one but yeah I dig the white faced Explorer 2 as well. But I'm still priced way out of the Rolex market. Thinking real hard about buying a blue or black faced Seamaster for my birthday in January. You can still walk right in and get pretty much any Omega model you want any time at...
  12. I got a question for you WATCH guys..............

Good choice. Tag Heuer is a loved and hated brand. Watch snobs hate it. Personally the Tag Monaco is one of my bucket list watches.
  13. I got a question for you WATCH guys..............

That's a good looking watch. If I could get past the digital display I would have to buy one.
  14. I got a question for you WATCH guys..............

G Skocks are another line with a loyal following. Most of them have more features than I would ever use. Kinda like my phone. And believe it or not there are G Shock watches that retail for over $2K . Yeah I was floored when I found that out. I just have this hang up where I can't wear a...
  15. I got a question for you WATCH guys..............

I have an all plastic Timex that has served me well since about 2014. They have a line of retro models now that I dig since they look like late 70s models. Best looking one is called the Falcon Eye.
  16. I got a question for you WATCH guys..............

Love the Sumo and the Samurai. Hell the Turtle too. So many Seikos I want.
  17. I got a question for you WATCH guys..............

Liminox has a pretty good following but I would say that following is more among Vets /active duty guys and cops. They have some good looking models including the one you ordered but I just can't see paying the prices they ask for a quartz movement watch. Don't get me wrong . I'm not a big money...
  18. Robert Earl Keen’s last tour

It's usually the venue. Like the Tabernacle still wants to see a vax card or less than 24 hour old test results.
  19. Robert Earl Keen’s last tour

Had no idea he had been at it that long. He's good. Kinda reminds me of DAC.
  20. I got a question for you WATCH guys..............

Yeah the smartphone is THE go to for most folks as for time telling these days. But consider this, that same smartphone or Apple watch that made the watch obsolete will itself be obsolete in a year or two. And further down the road when that phone or Apple watch won't update anymore the watch...
