Resurrecting an old hobby (fedex hate thread)

I use to play bass guitar back when I first graduated high school. Got pretty good at it. But fell out of it as I got into other hobbies like shooting, lol. I tried getting back into it several years ago but before I got anywhere my amp blew. That pretty much discouraged me and I sold all the equipment. Now, as I'm getting older and facing possible sight issues, I need something to do that doesn't require sight like shooting does. Took advantage of the cyber Monday deals and got me a new rig coming!

Good for you buddy. I was just learning to play the guitar when I sliced the tip of my left index finger of on a table saw a few months ago. It has messed up the nerves and I haven't tried to play yet.

Cool. My son just bought a bass recently, and an electric guitar. And now wants an acoustic bass and a 12 string. I've lost count of how many instruments are in the house now.

I have an acoustic guitars for years and still have a couple. I picked up a bass years ago and learned enough to play the root notes at church but never got any further than that. We got a new music guy and and I quit playing. Sold the bass and there are times I look back with regret. I keep saying Im gonna pick up my accoustics and learn something.
