  1. Your favorite crossbow target?

You are right about it not keeping the arrow in a perfectly perpendicular position to where it entered. They will hit and then shift a little and tilt to one side slightly depending on the density and position of stuffing where it hits. Never bothered me as I can still see exactly where it...
  2. Your favorite crossbow target?

I like the bag style targets that are just stuffed with rags, etc. They stop the highest powered arrows before they get deep and removal is so much easier than foam. I recently made a new one instead of buying because I had so many old articles of clothing and towels after downsizing and...
  3. Flashlights.

Oh wow. The cheapies I got have all 3 modes. Same case I guess with different circuit board.
  4. Flashlights.

That looks like the exact one sold under about 50 different names etched on the side. I picked up 5 for ten bucks a while back and they work great for an extra in the glove box of my vehicles, on the counter by the door, etc.

Might try the vice now since there is nothing to loose at this...
  7. Flashlights.

Might mar up the finish some but a couple vice grips should get it done. If you have a strap wrench to use on the main body and then find a thin screwdriver or awl that would go through the lanyard hole on the cap would maybe get it done without scratching things up. I have an old 5D cell...
  8. The X-1 tree stand

I looked at one last year but haven't had the opportunity to try one. I thought it was a great design for minimizing weight and bulk. Just looking at it though I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it for my typical hunts where I'm sitting for 5-6 hours at a time with a sort break and then right...
