  1. Help in identifying Nightvision equipment

So, does that translate into Gen3? If I sound ignorant, ita because I am!
  2. Help in identifying Nightvision equipment

I hope this is ok to put this in this forum, if not mods feel free to move. I have an ATN NV set up that I bought as a Gen 3 PVS 7, it’s ATN, works great and am pretty impressed how clear the image is and how far I can see with it. I bought it to accompany my thermal stuff about 2 years ago from...

  4. Pigs have invaded!

Saw about 12 together last night as I was leaving. I think we have an issue!
  5. Pigs have invaded!

Pigs have invaded our hunting lease! I’m the only one that is excited! Killed one with my 6XC competition rifle right at dark, and then broke out the thermal after dark and shot the bigger one! Couldn’t even tell I hit the big one, ran 100 yards like he wasn’t even hurt, absolutely no blood...

Rifle is a JP CTR-02 in 5.56 (223 Wylde on the barrel), optic is a Trijicon REAP-IR, tripod is a RRS, not sure about the model on it. 75 gr Hornady TAP BTHP is what i like to shoot.

  14. Errors in Hunting Seasons and Regulations Guide 2015-16

Deer don't stand a chance with a dog to sniff them out and a bear to do the killing.
  15. Another snake killed on the property

    Kabobs anyone?
  16. Hog Hunting

Hell, I can't even find a place to pay... I don't mind paying a lease to hunt them, just don't want to drive to the other end of the state.
  17. Night vision hog hunts .

I think at $200-$250 you would book as many hunts as you wanted. I'd love to do the hogswat thing w/ the thermals, but $500 is too much for me. I'm not busting his chops about price, he has tens of thousands tied up in optics.
  18. Light colored doves

Ok... I'm goin back this afternoon and I'll check on the collar. They are def bigger, almost pigeon sized. Thanks
  19. Light colored doves

Anybody else shoot more of those light colored doves? We had very few what I call mourning doves. They were all those really light colored birds. I heard somebody call them ringnecks, but no ring on the ones I killed.
