    Me too. Actually I have 13 different calibers of the stainless skeleton stock series. But the 30 06 is my 1st and favorite. It fits like a glove. I bought it the year my daughter was born.

    Well I wish you the best of luck in the future,Sir. Ive been shooting the same old mod 77 Ruger wearing camo duct tape with 180 gr core lokt for 28 seasons now. Certainly nothing fancy here. I have other rifles. But this one just seems like an extension of my right arm.

    I wont take a shot that Im not confident I can make. Im more of a powerline or fenceline hunter, so there tends to be a bit more time to make a clean, ethical shot.

    Because It only takes one shot. And I dont kill does. Vehicles bag plenty of does thruout the entire year in the area that I hunt.

    I Dont bow or ML hunt anymore. I hunt with a mod 77 Ruger .I generally start off with 3 in the rifle. They stay in the gun with the bolt open when not hunting. By season close I generally have 2 or 1 left in the gun. Unless coyotes are plentiful that year. But never more than 3 rounds in the gun.
