Why not? That is the ultimate fair chase victory. If you have beaten their senses to the point that they are comfortable enough to bed down you have won the fair chase battle.

You can hunt coyotes all year long on wma WHEN something is in season and you are using the appropriate weapon for that season.
I.E. When squirrel season opens you can be hunting squirrel with your .22lr and take a coyote.
i shot 2 last season with my 300 blk SBR. both died within sight and I was impressed with the wound channel/exit wounds. I'll be using it again this year. 100 grain Barnes tac-tx.
