    I have not killed a deer with a gun in years, but when I hunted I always used a 270 and it was great.     It is lookin good to me, but you know how big companies are, you never know until they have spoken. We just keep praying and trying to keep our heads up. Once it is all over and done with I have a few things that need to be set straight!!

    This is the first year in 20 years+ that I have not killed a deer. I lost my job a few months ago and my home this month and my hunting land as well. Fighting trying to get my job back and moving I just did not have time nor place to hunt. I hope this year everything gets righted!! MAN do I miss...

    Got to go hunting this morning with a great buddy, we saw a couple but not within range. I had the 500 and would like for them to have been a little closer. No scope on the 500 so it would be open sights shot.......better safe than sorry and I would rather pass on one and get a chance another...

    In the monring will be the first time I have got to go, a close friend has invited me to his place. Think I will be sporting the 500 handgun and give the deer a sporting chance!!
