    He looks to be mature...not sure it would spook him smelling another “scrape”. I wouldn’t put any out till October 2018 if you decide to. And stay out of the area as much as possible. I think pressure runs deer off more than anything.

    I hunt in Talbot co. Both bucks had black hocks, swollen necks and smelled rank. A guy in our club killed an 8 the day before that showed no signs of rutting on the same property. Guess the boys are sizing each other up.

    No I guess just the camera angle- one hand closer to the camera than the other. Holding both up one handed was tough, and keep them straight.
