Whether something is legal or illegal is a matter of what the words on the paper say. Whether something is "wrong" is a whole other question.

I carry a .45 daily, but when I'm hunting, it's a .357. I just don't think the .45 will get you the penetration you need on those tough little suckers. Of your two options, I'd say 10mm, but that's just based on ruling out the .45, not due to any experience with the 10mm.
First one was one shot...it ran about 50 yards and dropped.
Second one was not the best shot placement...took out the shoulder, had to climb down and put another .357 into his head.
