  3. How Duck Hunters?

    Usually do one 3 day guided trip to middle Missouri and one weekend trip to hunt with my buddies in New Orleans, been doing that for the past couple of years. Few years ago I was doing 4-5 trips a year out of state. Still love duck hunting, but I won't get up for GA duck hunting anymore

    I was covered up with Does yesterday at 4pm... Hunting the same stand with my bow today. Nothing so far

  6. Deer hunt 11/12

    Hunted yesterday afternoon and sat down for less then 5 minutes an had a nice tall 8 walk up the creek 5 yards from me. Thought it was a squirrel and we were dang near nose to nose! He busted me, blew real loud and took off running. In the same area today, hoping he didn't spook to bad.

    Yesterday afternoon they were moving good in Fayette, had a nice buck and small 8 come in but never had a clear shot with my bow. Back in the stand this afternoon hoping he shows back up

    I never seen a full rut myself in lower Henry or Oconee NF, I have hunted at least twice a week since opening weekend and never saw a single chase. When they were saying rut was "suppose" to be in full I watched a small spike and a doe walk a few yards from each other and the spike didn't pay...
