    Pretty 8 chasing a doe around in Walton Saturday evening but he got a pass. I wouldn't say he was dogging her bad but definitely not letting her outta his sight and chasing her around like the beginning of the rut

Tried Whitetail Institute this yr and followed the instructions and couldn't be happier with results and amount of deer traffic in these plots right now and they aren't but a month old.     I was thinking 3.5 too but no neighborhood deer. As wild as they come. I only hunt 180 acres surrounded by lots of acreage which leads me to think if I give him another pass he may not make it but also know he won't make it if I shoot him either.     I'm not too sure. Do know I had pics last year of him and he got a pass with a bow. He'll take a dirt nap this year if I should be so lucky to see him again. Tine length and dark color is my weakness

    stillness, quietness, and a good wind

  20. What level of accuracy do insist on for a deer rifle?

    No more than 1" at 100 yds. Rarely get a shot further where I hunt but I don't feel warm and fuzzy with 2". I do not sight my 308 1" or 2" high either but that's just me since I usually have 100 yd and less shots
