So now im pretty sure we all need to go shooting one weekend.
@REDX you in?
How about you @JWP6114? See if you can get Renwick to come out too, either that or ill swing by GA firing line one day and talk him into it.
I know @qodeBebop is down. I can probably drag Joe along when he gets...
Exactly! There are thousands of 1/4 minute rifles floating around. Not so many 1/4 minute shooters. Again, im not saying it can't be done. I would love to see it with a .308 though.
Hey man, I wasn't saying you can't do it, I just said I want to see it. A 1" group at 100 and then the same 1" group at 400 would be pretty impressive in my book.
I never said I was an expert marksman or even good for that matter but we can work something up and ill bring my rifle down one...
Dude, this is not a load that I just woke up one morning and decided I was going to shoot. It was carefully and safely worked up too. Checking for pressure signs along the way, no extractor marks, no flat primers, no pressure signs of any kind. I even had several other people looking at the...
The factory 140gr Hornady loads I tested were running 2760 and my gun with 41.7 and 42 was still 100fps slower than that so I bumped it up.
I also have been shooting well beyond 800 yards so I like the speed. Thing is like a laser.
By the looks of the brass and the primers it will handle...
You guys may not want to know my load for the 6.5 creedmore and certainly please don't try to duplicate it without working up and checking pressure signs along the way.

I just shipped 32lbs of Mixed brass yesterday via FedEx Ground for $11. I usually use USPS but this would not fit in a flat rate box and turns out FedEx was cheaper anyway.
Do you have a lube pad? How exactly are you lubing the cases? How many cases are you running through the sizer before lubing again?
Another problem could be the way the die is set up. The decapping/expander assembly can be a little off center and cause all kinds of problems. Loosen up the...
I had the same problem with my RCBS set. Sent one back to RCBS and the same thing happen when I got the new one. Here is the simple fix. Loosen the nut on the decapper/sizer rod.. Run a case up with the nut loose it will allow the die to straighten itself. Tighten the nut back with the case...
I think I seen somewhere that it was fairly simple to use .223/5.56 cases to make the 300blk round. Can anyone shead some light on this for me? I would really like to know how this is done.
I am trying to find some load data for the 155gr. Speer Gold Dot for my .40 cal. using unique powder. Has anyone loaded anything with this combo? If so please let me know? I can only find load data for the 165gr. and the 150gr. I though about just going in between the 2 and loading about...
