I’ve got some that I’ve had for 20 years and is still fine for loading. I always load up 10 rounds and test them on the older powder and have had no change in velocity or accuracy.
Been dealing with Dillion since about 1988 when bought my 550/ buy other change over kits and dies over the years and they have always had great service !
Been loading off and on for 48 years! Got a Dillion 550 progressive about 35 years ago and best money ever spent! It’s a good stress reliever for me as well to go out to reloading building and loading up 4 or 5 hundred rounds !
I usually will load 350 or so rounds at a time on stuff I shoot a lot and stuff that don’t get shot much I’ll load a 150 . If I’m stressed out I may go to the reloading building and stay 3 or 4 hours and load 1500 rounds of 38 or 45 acp . Reloading has been my major stress relief for 35 years...
WENT TO A CLASS IN 1978 WHEN I STARTED WORKING IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND ONE THING THEY TALKED ABOUT WAS USE OF HANDLOADS IN DUTY WEAPON, HOW THE ATTORNEYS WOULD CRUCIFY YOU ABOUT HOW YOU HAD LOADED UP A SUPER KILLING ROUND, AND HOW IT WOULD LOOK TO JURY !
