I reloaded my own ammo for years then I took a break from it,,,,,,,,, a five year break. I still have my equipment, case’s, projectiles, primers, powders etc. I am getting the urge to go at it again. My question for you fine folks is this: all my powder is still in the cabinets built into my reloading bench. Primers too along with everything else except my press. Would my powder likely still be good. It has been kept in the factory 1 lb bottles and 7 - 8 lb kegs. Kept dry but I reload in my shop at home. I have a wood heater on the opposite side of my shop from where I reload. Shop is 35 x 45 feet. No a c but the temps range from 80 - 90 in summer to 38 - 40 in winter unless i have a fire going in the winter in the wood heater, then it is 65 - 75. Pics of powder are what I have in my cabinet. Cabinet doors are always shut. Thanks for any advice / helpful comments

More than likely it is. I would check to be sure loading conservative loads to see how they perform. I’ve had some older powders that were hotter over years of storage and sone that I should’ve thrown out sometimes they have a really strong smell when you open them when they’re gettin old.

Good ideas on the smell test and loading conservative loads. I will definitely do that. Thanks
