Bruno shooters supply has Winchester Large Rifle MATCH primers in stock. Not old price cheap, but still good enough to order some @ $45/1000. Hopefully a heads up to people who need them and not those wanting to flip on gunbroker.
I load my 300bo subs with 208's over 10g imr4198. Very quiet and accurate in my SBR and 16". Never bothered to chrono them, just worked up until getting a supersonic crack then backed off a couple tenths.
True, the amax is being phased out. The ELD is very close, 300winmag 208g load was identical accuracy to the Amax with only a bullet change. BC is a little better with the ELD so it has a bit less drop at extreme distance. Not real sure about the melting tip B.S., I have no problem throwing...
It is always on the shelf at Cabela's and Adventure Outdoors, and usually priced below everything else on the shelf. Must be a reason why it does not sell;)

Hornady brass, 140 Amax @ 2.835, federal 210m primer, 42.3G H4350. This combo shoots .4 MOA when I do my part correctly and get everything very well matched. Have not tried the I4350 yet, but have 8# on the shelf as I have a hard time finding...
