  1. No clue what this ammo is…

Thank you, it was with some other 8mm Mauser but it’s a tad longer projectile so I wasn’t 100% plus the case marking is gibberish to me… I don’t own a Mauser so I’m unfamiliar with the ammo.
  2. No clue what this ammo is…

I think it’s 8mm Mauser but not 100%. Any clue? I’ve got a bunch of this, some empty brass, live rds & 9 five round stripper clips loaded inside an ammo pouch which looks very old. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, XJ

Sry... I had reloading on the brain. I now realize you were definitely talking about the old Remington lol! I'll look into that as there is no telling how many thousands of rounds my Granddad put through it. He used that on our old family farm back in the day to feed the family long before I was...

Well if I start with 38spl then cycling won't be an issue in a revolver. Good to know though and I'll find an extractor, is that brand specific to my press or are they a universal fit?

Good to know. I could start with 38spl as I have a 357mag I can put them through. I'm unsure if I have the dies for that ro not but I wouldn't mind starting with that. I have several jugs of powder and different primers but no clue what is for what caliber. Unsure on the loading tray or the...

Thank you. I honestly haven't shot the 20ga since my granddad passed. I just remember back in the late 90's going to dove shoots with him and the shells giving him issues. Plus when my Uncle brought it to me he told me it doesn't like modern ammo. I'll pick up a couple boxes from different...

I'd start with 9mm as I have an inexpesive pistol to test them with. My in-laws are off of shallowford so I'm over by Sandy Plains Rd fairly often.

I'd like to reload 9mm, 40, 45, 270Win, 7mm Rem Mag, and maybe some others. I know I have dies for the 9mm & 45. There are several other dies that I have no idea what they are. The only reason I know I have those two is because there is a whole bunch of brass and projectiles for those two and I...

Tks everyone!!! I'll definitely pick up a manual. Here are a few pics of the two presses. One is a Lee and I didn't see a name on the other. Don't judge the cluttered garage too harshly lol!

The press & another piece are already bolted to a homemade bench. It's pretty sturdy, 2x6's if I remember correctly. It was a bear loading it into the bed to my truck... I'm going to add an x-brace to it just to be sure because post trip it's got a little lean to it. If I had more 'free time'...

Hello, I have a lot of reloading stuff and am new to it (brand new). So I just wrote out an entire paragraph and then realized this should be shorter... I need someone to show me the basics & beyond of reloading. I aquired an entire once working setup and have no idea what I'm doing. Lots of...
