I think I loaded 3.8 of red dot under various lead bullets. Very mild recoil and fairly accurate, but smokey. Looks funny shooting at an indoor range lol.
I got it on my android tablet....much easier to read than on my phone. It's not super user friendly...kind of a pain to navigate, but the information is there if you spend a few minutes looking.
There's a learning curve with it, don't worry too much. I have a collection of effed up rounds that I've loaded, just to remind me not to make the same mistakes more than once. Or at least more than a few times ;)
Maybe 6 months ago on those prices. If you can even find components now, expect to pay a lot more than $90/1000 bullets, $20/lb for powder and $30/1000 for primers.
It's a little down the road for me, so maybe components will be easier to get by the time I get around to it, but I'm definitely intrigued by the 300 BLK. The idea of not having to change anything upper while keeping mags, BCG, etc, is nice. And being able to use 5.56 brass is awesome. It...

Just for future reference, primers should be $25-40, not $50-60 and powder should be $18-25, not $50-60. Bullet prices varied a lot before the panic, anyway, but take whatever...
Hm, yeah...you need to trade off those magnum primers, I think.
I don't know about that powder, but it should work. It seems there's a lot of overlap with shotgun powders and .45 ACP. That load feels ok to me, but I don't use Hi Skor, so don't hold me to that.

Disagree all you want...maybe you get lucky with a hookup, but I've tried a bunch of shops all over town and have gotten the same story. And, it seems, so has the OP. I've also heard the same story from other casters on other boards from around the country. So congrats on your scores, I wish I...
