  1. Subsonic expanding bullet for .458 SOCOM and .300BO

Maker bullets for sure. I can’t seem to find any in stock except for actual loaded ammunition. Black butterfly has a a decent amount of things in stock...loaded ammo. Even if you’re not wanting loaded ammo it’s a good website to look over.
  2. Shooters World SOCOM Powder

There’s a place local to me in Dallas that sells a lot of shooters world powder. Probably a decent drive for you. If you want the info, message me. Not really wanting to advertise my spot openly on the forum.
  3. Who has the best?

I’ve been loading 147 grains for a little while now using titegroup at the suggested beginning load out of Hodgdon manual @3.2 grains. With loads that light though I don’t use my rcbs powder throw...even though it’s usually spot on. I’ll use my Intellidropper. I like it! Out of my suppressed...
  4. New to reloading

I’m in Dallas. I’m no expert but have been reloading off an on for over 25 years. I haven’t blown anything up yet. Bring that marlin 30-30 that I keep trying to tell myself I shouldn’t offer something up for and I’ll help you with anything you need to know. Lol
  5. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

I’ve researched it further and it is a crimp. It’s a crimp Winchester is putting on their military ammo. There’s also Winchester 308 with the same crimp. Ive also read on a couple other reloading forums that people have only ever seen this on the Winchester military brass with the head stamp of WMA.
  6. What is everyone using on crimped primers pockets???

I actually just bought one of the rcbs bench tool swagers. It seems like it’s doing a great job. I did 500 rounds a couple days ago and haven’t had an issue with 1 primer pocket.
  7. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

I don’t know. I’ve seen people do some super crazy heavy crimps and nothing looked like that. And i only found it on the WMA stamped brass. So I’m thinking like it’s already been said that it’s just a type of crimp the newer Winchester factory is putting on.
  8. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

Got It! Thanks for the input.
  9. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

I originally thought kind of the same thing.
  10. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

Yeah I just load for plinking from mixed range pickups. I’m going to process them and load em up. I was really just curious. I’ve shot a ton of different types of 223/5.55 brass and had never seen that... or rather noticed it.
  11. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

WMA head stamp which I’m fairly certain is Winchester brass.
  12. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

    1.76ish on all 5
  13. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

By the way I’m assuming this is some type of heavy crimp indents or something. Just curious what others have to say.
  14. Weird neck on 223 brass. Help me out!

Until recently I’ve only reloaded my own once fired brass. Here lately I’ve been getting once fired brass from various sources. I’ve never noticed this before on the neck up by the mouth on this 223 brass. I’ve found about 5 of them out around 1k range pickups. Is this a certain type of crimp...
  15. Loading in a small space

I had something just like that when I was around 16ish. Mine had additional fold table area on the side. It worked pretty good for my reloading at the time.
  16. Local Powder

Ga arms in villa rica. That might be a little west of what some consider “metro Atlanta” but I’m only like 20 mins from villa rica. So... I go there often for supplies. Since this whole covid thing started the only powder they’ve been out of that I use is Varget.
  17. Any interest in a giveaway for this????

I’m seriously thinking about buying one of the ender 3 pros. I have absolutely zero knowledge when it comes to this stuff other than a bunch of YouTube videos I watched trying to research it all. I’m guessing I’d have to have a computer to do the slicing software. We haven’t bought a computer in...
  18. What is everyone using on crimped primers pockets???

Rcbs military crimp removal in a drill.
  19. Case Prep Centers

I wear my old leather hatch patrol gloves when doing 300BO. From all the gloves I have, without buying something new, they work the best. My hands will start to hurt after a 100 or so rounds, even alternating hands every 10 or so pieces. That being said I’d rather do this than my previous setup...
  20. Case Prep Centers

I run one of the Frankfords. I like it. I have a couple gripes about it though. The whole reverse threads on adjusting the trim length. That crap gets me every time. Even when I tell myself it’s reverse threads before adjusting it. It’s also a pain trimming 300bo because the shorter case goes so...
