Yeah about that 3 year warranty battery, is it designed for the typical use case that leaves their car out 365x7 ? Can you expect anything different if you keep yours in an attached or heated garage and only drive it once a week? Will it last about the same or last any longer? -

Camaro with dead battery is worse than most because it’s located in the trunk. Can’t open the trunk when battery is dead. Have to climb through back seat to pull the trunk release. Also a Camaro can lock in the ignition key when battery dies. -

Searched and found these drain plugs don’t come out easily - numerous threads about this very thing. Most just drop the pan. Have to unbolt the exhaust at 2 points, unbolt Torx or bend the shifter cable bracket, remove pan and it’s 17 bolts. May as well change the filter too. Think I’ll find a... -

Walmart is nearby, so I’ll see what they’ve got on the shelf. Napa is 15 mins further. Online I see Castrol, Mobile, Valvoline, and then some others that aren’t as expensive. Eventually found some AC Delco Dex 3 on Amazon for $15/qt. Thanks for your advice. -
