Yes, so the gauge was jumping to red and back to empty as the compressor was cycling. I’ve never used one of these DIY recharge bottles. I found a video where the same thing was happening and he just let it ride and it ended up reading right.
My FIL died last year and we are finally getting around to selling some of his vehicles. I’ve been working on his pickup and the AC isn’t blowing cold. I’m going to include a video below. Now this short video may not help but is the compressor shot or is it a more simple fix?? Let me know...
I’m embarrassed to say….I had no clue the “fuel out fitting” in the bottom of the gas tank was so long. I believe after replacing the fuel system which needed to be done anyways after sitting for 15 years, I didn’t have enough gas in the tank :doh: The tires on it right now or 25x8-12/25x11-10.
