Kim is a great bike and their two strokes have a lot of power. Kim builds thier bikes to get maximum horsepower out of every cc. Seeing that this is a two stroke you will need to keep up with maintenance with a new top end rework about every 50 to 60 hours. Most people that is one season...

I have owned the older grand Cherokee 4x4 with the 4.0 it was bulletproof but under powered. Also had a friend that racked up seriouse mile driving and he bought and owned 4 of them with the 4.0 he said they were great but at 150k the heater blower motors went out and he changed them himself...
It really depends on the bike. I am 55 have a great driving record and through foremost my ninja 600 is less than 200 a year full coverage. However my Ducati is over 600 a year. Dairy land has better rates but they will not insure my Ducati.
I ride all year. I have found that the most vital areas to keep warm are feet ,hands, neck chest. I do not have heated gear so I double line my glove with the base layer being those cheap 1.00 cloth gloves you get at qt. I wear wool socks for my feet and a balaclava that has a chest cover...
