Here's a couple of pics of the old Zuki. I don't think it was much bigger than the new SxS utv.
On 35" BFG All terrains:
It was eventually on 36" IROKs. It had a rough life, but was so fun. I was jealous of everyone riding around in the utvs during the recent snow.
Nice bike! I love the look and handling of the Sportster. I enjoy riding mine more than riding our Road King.
There is a forum dedicated to the Sportster. Tons of info on maintenance and modifications. www.xlforum.net
Where are you guys reading that DOT approval is law? I haven't looked in a few years until just now, but this is what I find on the Google search: http://www.bikersrights.com/states/georgia/georgia.html
I ride about half of the time with a non-DOT Voss beanie helmet, the rest of the time I...
It's looking really good! You're a brave man, running that heat wrap on the pipes. I caught my frayed work jeans on fire 3 different times before putting on D&D pipes that had heat shields.
It looks great! My wife and I ride up to Cartersville often, and sometimes out to Top of the River in Gadsden, AL for lunch. We should meet up some weekend up your way.
Also, Big Mountain Run is just a short ride into Tennessee in May. It is a disorganized bike rally with live bands and...
My bike: 2007 Nightster with performance and appearance upgrades:
"Our" bike: My wife picked it out for road trips. 2011 Road King loaded down for our trip back home from the Big Mountain Run. (That's me showcasing my sun shiny personality.)
I use K-otic Kustoms in Woodstock. It's a real laid back shop with a certified mechanic. When I first got my Sportster, they always made me feel welcome and answered a ton of questions, even before I spent any money there. After several trips in, I decided to have them do whatever work that I...
I had gloss black scallops on the tank and front fender. Recently I painted them over with a darker shade of OD, then pulled the vinyl off, leaving light OD scallops. I'm probably going to get it professionally painted in a year or two. But I get bored easily and it's fun being able to change...
I think this one will stay orange. My wife would have a heart attack if I broke out a can of Krylon on this one. But I am buying and making some cool new parts for the Nightster! Having another bike to ride to work is giving me time to do some more projects on it. I've always had to have it...
My daily driver is a Harley XL1200N. It has been reliable, fun transportation to work, but my wife was never comfortable on the back of it. She is a little taller than I am, and doesn't have enough leg room.
We had been planning a trip to Reliance, TN for the Big Mountain Run. She began to...
Danny Godfrey is organizing the bike nights for Tilted Kilt this season. The last couple of years he was at Hooter's in Canton and they averaged about 200 bikes every Thursday night. Hopefully most of the crowd will follow him down to TK. If it is like last years bike nights, it will be every...
The Tilted Kilt in Kennesaw is kicking off their Bike Night season this Thursday night Apr 7. Starts around 7pm. Food and drink discounts, live band, and give-aways.
My wife and I will be riding out there from the Woodstock area.
Hope to see some of you guys there.
We had 40+ bikes meet at K-otic and ride to Killer Creek. Big crowd there! Psycho Devilles were putting on a great show.
I saw one other guy carrying a pistol. Glock, carrying right-handed in a left-handed holster, cavalry draw. Was that anyone from here?
I'll be there from Noon til around 1:30. Probably hanging out with either K-otic Kustom or Jeff Craig Customs. I've got my hair cut in a Devilock and I'm blind in one eye (makes me pretty easy to recognize)! There's a picture of me in my profile and my bike on my avatar.
It would be great to...
Killer Creek Harley Davidson in Roswell is having a St. Patrick's Day party and sale on Sunday March 20th. Noon - 5:00. Psycho Devilles will be playing.
I'm meeting some folks at K-otic Kustoms in Woodstock at 11:00 to ride over there.
Also, Danny Godfrey is no longer doing the huge Bike...
I live in Woodstock and ride every day to work. I don't get to ride much for fun.
The Hooter's in Canton is kicking off their bike night season tonight. I'm not heading up there tonight, but normally attend 1 or 2 a month. Let me know if you ever want to meet up there. There are normally a...
